INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION (IBPS) COMMON RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEESIN PARTICIPATING ORGANISATIONS (CRP PO/MT-XIII for Vacancies of 2024-25)  

The IBPS PO online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Banks is tentatively scheduled in September-October 2023 / November 2023.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts CRP PO/MT exam to shortlist candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO)/Management Trainee in various public sector banks in India.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) provides recruitment and training services to a common standard for public sector banks (PSB).

IBPS CRP PO/MT 2023 examination is held in three phases – Preliminary and Main exam followed by Interview Round.

All the candidates who successfully register themselves under CRP PO/MT-XIII will be called for IBPS PO Preliminary Examinations. Based on the performance in the preliminary examination, certain number of candidates will be shortlisted for each of these examinations. The short-listed candidates will then be called for IBPS PO Main Examinations. There will be fewer number of questions in the IBPS PO Preliminary Examination with shorter duration. The marks obtained in the IBPS PO Preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit list and the marks obtained in the IBPS PO Main Examination will only be considered for short listing for Interview.

The IBPS PO Exam is conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

Payment of Application Fees/Intimation Charges (Online) for CRP IBPS PO/MT :  01.08.2023 to 21.08.2023  

Provisional Allotment April 2024 CRP IBPS PO/MT PARTICIPATING PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS  : This Year 11 banks Participate in the CRP PO/MT recruitment process.

An individual who aspires to join any of the above Public Sector Banks as a Probationary Officer / Management Trainee will necessarily be required to take the CRP PO/MT. Prospective candidates who wish to appear for the CRP will have to apply to IBPS and should carefully read the advertisement regarding eligibility criteria, online registration process, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters and score cards.

Candidates who appear for the CRP will be able to check their status after the IBPS PO examination. Scorecards will be issued to candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks and above in each test of the IBPS CRP PO examination.

Each participating Public Sector Bank will independently issue a separate recruitment notification, specifying their vacancies and stipulating the eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, experience (if any), minimum required level of IBPS PO score in each component test plus Total Weighted Score (if any) etc.

Successful candidates in the CRP IBPS PO who have been issued scorecards and who meet the stipulated eligibility criteria are then required to apply to any of the participating banks they wish to, quoting their personal details and their CRP IBPS PO scores. Each bank will then individually shortlist candidates and carry out their own selection processes such as Group Discussions and/ or Interviews etc. for final selection.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for IBPS PO (as on 01.08.2023)

Candidates intending to apply for IBPS CRP PO/MT-XIII should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS.

I. Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

II. Age for IBPS PO/MT (As on 01/08/2023) 

Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years
i.e. a IBPS CRP PO candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both dates inclusive)

III. Educational Qualifications for IBPS CRP PO (As on 21/08/2023) : 

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

The IBPS CRP PO/MT candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should have been declared on or before 21.08.2023.
Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 21.08.2023 has to be submitted at the time of interview.

IBPS CRP PO/MT SELECTION PROCESS:

CRP PO/MT ONLINE EXAMINATIONS : 

The structure of the IBPS PO Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows :

I. IBPS CRP PO Preliminary Examination: comprises tests on following subjects

• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Ability

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. 

II. IBPS CRP PO Main Examination: comprises tests on following subjects

• Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
• General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness
• English Language
• Data Analysis & Interpretation
• English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) 

IBPS CRP PO/MT INTERVIEW:  

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the IBPS PO Online Main examination for CRP-PO/MT-XIII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS.

The total marks allotted for IBPS PO Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP-PO/MT-XIII and Interview. 

IBPS CRP PO EXAMINATION CENTRES: The CRP PO/MT examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India.
The tentative list of Examination centres for the IBPS PO Online Preliminary examination and those for Online IBPS PO Main examination is available application form.
No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained.

HOW TO APPLY IBPS CRP PO/MT APPLICATION FORM :

Candidates can apply IBPS CRP PO online only from 01.08.2023 to 21.08.2023 and no other mode of application will be accepted. 
Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS authorised website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link CRP PO/MT and then click on the option CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (CRP-PO/MT-XIII) to open the On-Line Application Form.

Candidates will have click on CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION to register their IBPS CRP PO/MT application by entering their basic information in the online application form.

IBPS CRP PO/MT APPLICATION FEES (Applicable GST will be borne by IBPS): Intimation Charges Payable from 01.08.2023 to 21.08.2023 (Online payment),  both  dates inclusive, shall be as follows –  

Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates. 

Rs.850/- for all others 

Bank transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate
Mode of IBPS CRP PO/MT Payment: Candidates should make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only.

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. 

IBPS CRP PO/MT CALL LETTERS:  

The Centre, venue address, date and time for both IBPS CRP PO/MT Online Preliminary and Online Main examinations and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter.

An eligible IBPS PO/MT candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.  

No hard copy of the IBPS CRP PO call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.

There will be an additional call letter for Scribe for the IBPS PO Online Main Examination.
